The ECO4 Scheme, set by the UK government, aims to assist UK households in improving their dwellings’ energy efficiency by reducing heat losses and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The government has obligated the energy companies to invest back into UK households to make them more energy efficient. The primary goal is to reduce fuel poverty and improve energy ratings of the existing properties. In partnership with Energy Saving Trust, such schemes have been running for a few years helping thousands of households to get better in energy performance and become more energy efficient.

ECO4 funding is available, subject to the recipient receiving one of the qualifying benefits and the outcome of the energy assessment report, the rating of which must meet the eligibility criteria of the ECO 4 Scheme. The scheme is currently offering grant to households whose energy rating is D or below. Even if you have an existing EPC, we still require an assessment which is totally free. In addition to that, last three months energy bills and some other supporting documents will be required as evidence from the applicant.
